Tuvalu

Tuvalu is in the Pacific Ocean. Its capital is Funafuti. It is at 8° 00' South, 178° 00' East. Tuvalu has an area of 26 square kilometres (10 square miles). The population is 10,544. This population is from a 2011 estimate.
Economy
For currency they use the Australian Dollar. The inflation in 2006 was 3.8%. The economy link (above) goes to a page that lists their commodities and trading partners.

Government
Administrative offices are located in Vaiaku Village on Fongafale Islet.
Society
People here speak English, Kiribati, Samoan, and Tuvaluan. Religions beliefs here include Bahai, Church of Tuvalu, other, and Seventh-Day Adventist.

Tuvalu means group of eight. It refers to the country's eight traditionally inhabited islands.
